At Passione Gelato, we believe that using top-notch quality ingredients is vital to getting the best results. Gelato is served at a warmer temperature than ice cream; this means that when it melts on the tongue - you can taste every bit of the ingredients to its core and full essence.
With that said, we want to ensure that your experience is nothing but perfect, even if that means the process can be lengthy. Because we know that it's worth it at the end of the day, especially if it puts those smiles on your faces!
From peeling fruits to steeping tea, our team at Passione Gelato takes pride in making everything from scratch at our 250 square-foot storefront. Every single batch of gelato and sorbetto and handled with care, and produces only 25 scoops, or 8 pints.
This is why we refer to our artisan gelato as microbatch, instead of small batch. We feel that the term "micro-batch" embodies our creations to its fullest.
Each batch of gelato goes through a particular process that takes around 1-2 days to complete. You can see the process in detail here
